I also remember Granny Terrell's behind her house.
But the best was at unca franklin's 2 holer and we could watch the hens lay the eggs.
I will continue to pull up memories but you never know what will come out of the deepest darkest reaches of my unfathonable mind.

Granny Vowell had an outhouse? And those were dewberries! Sandra...do you remember an outhouse at Granny Vowell's?
There was a bed in the dining room. Whose bed was it? It was the best bed when you had to go to bed before the grown-ups wound down, because you were right in the center of the action.
